Priyakanta Laishram (also known as Priyakanta Thoi Laishram) is an Indian film actor, independent filmmaker, writer and film producer who predominantly appears in the Manipuri Cinema. He is a recipient of several awards at several film festivals organised in India and abroad. Priyakanta is a native of Imphal, India. He completed his Bachelor of Mass Media from Mumbai University and also got a degree in Sociology Honours from Panjab University, Chandigarh. The Foul Truth (2019), It's Not My Choice (2015), Who Said Boys Can't Wear Make Up (2018), I am Special (2017), Spaced Out - Panthung Di Kadaaida (2021) , Chan-Thoibi (2009) are some of his notable award winning films.
