Issue with ASP.NET not calling Page_Load

Question:

Hi,

I have an issue with an ASP.NET web page that has been developed to log people into an external application.

Assuming we open IE and have all cookies, internet files and cache cleared, and enter the address of the website it works correctly and performs its function.

If I close IE and reopen it, enter the address of the website again, the page loads up but fails to work. It appears that it is loading the website but not calling the Page_Load function.

If I enter the address again and click refresh or clear all cookies, internet files and cache and re-enter the address then it will work.

does anyone know why this is happening and how I can set the site so that the Page_load function is called everytime?
