Apache startup script name is specified with the following variable in /etc/psa/psa.conf file:

#apache startup script
HTTPD_SERVICE apache2

Find out what the actual apache startup script file name is, it may be either apache2 or apache2.sh:

# ls /usr/local/etc/rc.d/apache2*
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/apache2

then set the correct value in /etc/psa/psa.conf for HTTPD_SERVICE variable.

Solution:

To fix this we logged into the server and from /etc/yum.repos.d/ delete the plesk.repo and run the yum updater again.  Please make sure if you are primarly using atomic corps repo.

1) Login to cPanel at http://yourdomainname.tld:2082 click the “Backups” option as shown in the screen below

2) On the next screen, cPanel will offer you various option to generate a full backup, i.e. to backup a home directory, databases, emails etc. Click on “Download or Generate a Full Website Backup” as shown in the following screen.

3) Here you will have to decide where you need to save the copy of the backup file by selecting the appropriate option from the “Backup Destination” drop down list.

b) “Remote Ftp Server” if you want to send the backup file to a remote server in which case, you need to mention the Remote Server IP, Ftp user/password, port and directory. Click “Generate Backup” button and the backup file will be copied to the remote server once the process completes.

In either of the above case, you can specify an email address in the “Email Address” field to receive a notification.

Note: This cPanel generated backup cannot be restored from the cPanel interface. It can only be restored from shell as root OR from WHM interface.

The error message is displayed when you delete an email account of a domain from cPanel >> ‘Email Accounts’ that is either shifted under another users account OR usually happens when a domain is swapped from add-on domain to main domain OR vice-versa. You cannot delete an email account from cPanel, and in this case, you have to manually remove the email account entries for domain from the existing account.

The files you need to remove the entries from are

/home/user/etc/domainname.tld/passwd
/home/user/etc/domainname.tld/shadow
/home/user/.cpanel/email_accounts.yaml

The directory that need to be removed is

/home/user/mail/mydomain.com

where, ‘user’ is the one under who’s account the email address of ‘mydomain.com’ exist.

How to change cPanel theme for multiple accounts?

The cPanel theme for an account is specified in the /var/cpanel/users/username file in the format

Note: The single OR double quotes in the script may change to dot (.) on copy/pasting the command in the shell, so make sure you correct those before executing the command.
